Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bulk Uploader for Printify ("we", "our", "us") handles information when you use our Chrome extension and website. We build tools for Printify sellers but are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Printify.

Chrome Web Store user data disclosure summary

The website and subscription service may collect limited account, billing, usage, and support information. The Chrome extension also processes user-provided upload data locally on the user's device. For Chrome Web Store privacy disclosures, we disclose the data categories below because the extension or related account service may handle these categories to provide the product. Not all disclosed categories are collected by us; some are processed locally by the extension or sent directly from the user's browser to Printify.

  • Collected by us – account email or Google account identifier used for sign-in, billing/subscription information, limited upload usage records, error events, and support messages.
  • Processed locally by the extension, not collected by us – Printify API tokens, selected image files, image file contents prepared for upload, CSV files, Google Sheets or other public CSV links entered by the user, extension settings, and local upload status.
  • Stored locally – the Printify API token, extension settings, selected upload queue information, and local CSV import state are stored in the user's browser until the user clears extension data, removes the items, or uninstalls the extension.
  • Sent directly to Printify – upload requests, selected image file contents, and CSV image URLs are sent directly from the user's browser to the Printify API for Media Library uploads.
  • Not sent to our servers – Printify API tokens, selected image files, image contents, CSV files, Google Sheets links, CSV import data, and local extension settings are not collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

Chrome Web Store data categories handled by the product:

  • Personal identity information – used for Google sign-in, account creation, subscription status, and support, such as an account email or Google account identifier. We do not receive or store the user's Google password.
  • Authentication information – includes the user's Printify API token. The token is stored locally in Chrome storage and used only to authenticate direct requests from the user's browser to the Printify API. It is not sent to our servers.
  • User activity – includes limited upload usage, daily upload counts, quota usage, plan status, and error information used to operate the service, enforce plan limits, and improve reliability. For free users, we record upload counts to enforce the free daily limit of 10 images.
  • Website content – includes user-selected image files, image file contents prepared for upload, CSV files, Google Sheets or other public CSV links, CSV rows, and image URLs used for upload. This upload content is processed in the browser and is not sent to our servers.

1. Information we collect and process

We aim to collect as little data as possible. For website, account, subscription, and support features, we may collect and process:

  • Account and billing data – such as your email address or Google account identifier used for sign-in, and billing details when you subscribe to a paid plan. We do not receive or store your Google password.
  • Usage data – such as the number of images uploaded per day, quota usage, plan status, error events, and basic technical logs to keep the service reliable and enforce plan limits. Free users have a daily limit of 10 image uploads, so we may record upload counts associated with the user's account to apply that limit.
  • Support communications – any information you choose to share when you contact us at support@extsky.com.

The Chrome extension processes certain user-provided data locally on the user's device to provide its upload functionality. This data is not collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers.

  • Printify API token entered by the user.
  • Image files selected by the user for upload, including the image contents prepared in the browser for Printify API upload.
  • CSV files or public CSV links provided by the user for URL imports, including Google Sheets links and CSV rows parsed in the browser to identify image URLs.
  • Local extension settings and upload status information.

These items are processed locally by the extension and are not collected by us.

2. Printify API tokens and image content

The user enters their own Printify API token into the extension. The token is stored locally using Chrome storage and is used only to authenticate requests to the Printify API.

  • Your API token is never sent to our servers.
  • Image files are selected from the user's device.
  • For local image uploads, image contents are prepared in the browser and uploaded directly from the browser to the Printify API using the user's Printify API token.
  • For CSV URL uploads, the CSV file is read locally in the browser to extract image URLs. The CSV file itself is not uploaded to Printify or to our servers.
  • For Google Sheets or other public CSV link imports, the extension parses the link entered by the user in the browser, fetches the public CSV content directly from the link provider, parses the CSV in the browser, and uses the selected image URLs for upload.
  • Google Sheets links entered by the user are not sent to our servers.
  • For CSV URL uploads, each selected image URL is sent directly from the browser to the Printify API so Printify can download the image into the user's Printify Media Library.
  • We do not access, collect, store, or transmit uploaded image files, image contents, CSV files, or CSV row data on our servers.
  • You can revoke your Printify API token at any time from your Printify account.

3. Chrome Extension Permissions and Data Processing

The extension requests permissions only for its core upload functionality.

  • Storage permission – used to save extension settings and the user's Printify API token locally in Chrome storage.
  • Identity and sign-in access – used only for Google sign-in, account creation, subscription status, and plan management. Account email or Google account identifier data may be processed by our authentication and billing services for these purposes. We do not receive or store the user's Google password.
  • User-selected file access – used only when the user chooses image files to upload.
  • Network access – used to communicate with our service APIs for account, plan, billing, and usage checks; to communicate directly with the Printify API for image uploads; and, when the user chooses Google Sheets import, to fetch the public CSV link provided by the user.

The extension does not collect browsing history, website content, personal communications, or unrelated user information.

4. How we use information

We use the limited data we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Bulk Uploader for Printify extension and website.
  • Operate billing, subscriptions, and account management.
  • Monitor usage in aggregate to improve performance and reliability.
  • Respond to support requests and product feedback.

The data processed locally by the Chrome extension is used only to provide bulk image upload functionality.

5. Data retention

We keep billing and account records for as long as required for legal, accounting, or business purposes. Aggregated usage data may be retained to help us understand long-term product performance. Local extension data, including Printify API tokens, extension settings, upload queue information, and local CSV import state, remains in the user's browser until the user clears extension data, removes the relevant items, or uninstalls the extension.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted service providers (for example, payment processors or error monitoring tools) strictly to operate the service. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information. We do not sell or transfer user data for advertising or tracking purposes.

We do not share extension-processed data such as Printify API tokens, uploaded images, CSV import data, or local extension settings with third parties. The extension communicates directly with the Printify API from the user's browser. We do not proxy or store this data.

7. International transfers

Depending on where you are located and where our infrastructure providers operate, your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. We only use reputable providers that implement industry-standard security practices.

8. Your rights and choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the link in the email or contacting us. You may also contact us if you want to access, update, or delete personal information we store about you, subject to applicable law. You can remove locally stored extension data by deleting items from the extension, clearing the extension's stored data in Chrome, or uninstalling the extension.

9. Children's privacy

Bulk Uploader for Printify is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date below.
